Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year Finalist: Logan Campbell

TOWSON, Md. – University of Scranton men’s soccer student-athlete Logan Campbell has been named a finalist for the Landmark Conference Male Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year, an honor recognizing graduating seniors who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in academics, athletics, leadership, and community service throughout their collegiate careers. The league’s overall Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year will be selected from four finalists and submitted for consideration for the Division III Commissioners Association (DIIICA) National Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Campbell established himself as one of the most consistent and impactful players in program history while excelling academically as a Business Analytics major, where he carried a 3.99 grade point average. He helped lead the Royals to the 2022 Landmark Conference Championship and anchored the back line throughout his career.

On the field, Campbell became just the second First Team All-American in program history, building on a résumé that included three All-Landmark selections, two First Team All-Region honors, and recognition as the 2025 Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He anchored a defensive unit that allowed just four goals all season, including none in Landmark Conference play, helping Scranton finish among the national leaders in shutout percentage and goals-against average.

Academically, Campbell earned College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-America honors in 2025 and was a three-time CSC Academic All-District selection. He also earned United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Second Team honors and All-Region recognition before being named the 2025 United Soccer Coaches National Scholar Player of the Year.

Beyond competition and academics, Campbell made an impact through service and leadership roles. He served as an Event Coordinator with Lamancha Animal Rescue, helping organize volunteer initiatives and supporting the care and training of animals, and worked with Riverfront Sports’ Challenger Soccer Program to facilitate inclusive programming for individuals with disabilities. He also contributed to outreach efforts at The Arrupe House, assisting with meal preparation in partnership with Friends of the Poor.

The overall Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year will be announced on Wednesday, July 8.
