Men’s Athlete of the Week: Otarhe Okoh (Wilkes)
Otarhe Okoh highlighted the week with an impressive run to the No. 2 singles title at the King’s Tournament, earning three consecutive victories. Okoh opened tournament play with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Penn College’s Matt Williams before defeating Marywood’s Alex Corcoran, 6-2, 6-3, in the semifinals. He capped his run with a hard-fought 7-6 (3), 4-6, 10-5 victory over Muhlenberg’s Ryan Hart in the championship match. Okoh also competed at No. 1 doubles alongside teammate Bleiler, with the duo earning a dominant 6-0 victory over Misericordia’s Brower and Ceklosky in the King’s Tournament semifinals.
Women’s Athlete of the Week: Gisele Falzone (Scranton)
Gisele Falzone delivered a dominant performance in Scranton’s 6-1 victory over Elizabethtown, earning wins in both singles and doubles competition. Playing at No. 1 singles, Falzone cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory, dropping just one game across two sets. Falzone was equally impressive at No. 1 doubles, teaming with Sarah Crawford for a commanding 6-0 victory. She finished the match unbeaten while helping the Royals secure a decisive conference victory.
