Landmark Announces Athletes of the Week

TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has released the Athletes of the Week. The conference will recognize a student-athlete for each sport based on their contributions to their team throughout the season.

For the fall season, field hockey, football, soccer, and volleyball will be announced on Monday, followed by cross country, golf, and tennis on Tuesday.

  • Men's Athlete of the Week: Will Inglis (Elizabethtown)
    Elizabethtown senior Will Inglis continued his strong season with another top-10 finish at the Lock Haven Invitational, placing seventh in the Crimson Race with a new 8k personal-best time of 25:04.9. Inglis’ performance helped the Blue Jays finish seventh as a team in the Crimson Race. 

    Women's Athlete of the Week: Ella McCrum (Juniata)
    Ella McCrum continued her dominant season with another first-place finish at the Lock Haven Invitational, crossing the finish line at 22:15.7. Her performance marked the second-fastest 6k time in Juniata program history, further highlighting her consistent excellence this season. 

  • Men’s Athlete of the Week: Jack Davenport (Catholic)
    Davenport turned in a standout performance at the Cardinal Fall Classic, battling his way to a first place finish with an impressive two-round total of 144 at Black Rock Golf Course. Jack opened the tournament in strong fashion, firing a 1-under 71 to position himself near the top of the leaderboard before closing with a 73 in the second round. His 144 total secured second place individually and highlighted another strong showing against a competitive field. 

    Women’s Athlete of the Week: Kyleen McCance (Wilkes)
    McCance continued her strong start to the season by earning medalist honors for the second consecutive event. McCance delivered a standout individual performance, carding a 73 (+1) with three birdies to claim first place.
