Catholic Claims Landmark Women's Golf Preview Title

DELEWARE, Pa. - The Catholic University women's golf program finished its fall campaign by winning the Landmark Conference Women's Golf Preview at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.

The Cardinals shot a two-day total of 651 (+36) to win the preview by 13 strokes over second-place Drew University.

Individually, junior Brooke Smith earned medalist honors as she shot a two-day total of 156 (80-76). Smith improved on her Saturday round by four shots to tie the low score before winning Low Medalist honors with a birdie in a playoff with Susquehanna's Kennedy Petrovich.

The Cardinals occupied three of the top five spots on the leaderboard. First-year Kennedy Petrovich tied for first with a score of 156 (77-79), while First-year Josephine Nguyen, from Drew University, shot a 158 (79-79) to place third.

Catholic took the fourth and fifth spots. Senior Avery Mrak placed fourth with a 162 (77- 85), while junior Lauren Wright finished fifth with a 163 (82-81).

  7. Wilkes University: 894 (448- 446)

*Elizabethtown College, Marywood University, and Moravian University sent individuals to represent the teams.

The 2025 Landmark Women's Golf Championship will be held from Saturday, April 26 to Sunday, April 27 at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
