Susquehanna Women's Golf Ranks in Top 20 in Team GPA Nationally from WGCA

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The Susquehanna University women's golf team received news that its 3.71 team grade point average ranked in the top 20 nationally in NCAA Division III, as recognized by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) in its rollout of the WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Awards.

Susquehanna's 3.71 combined GPA was tied with Southern Virginia University for the 20th-highest team GPA in all NCAA Division III. This marked the highest team GPA in the Landmark and third-highest among Pennsylvania Division III institutions, with Allegheny ranked seventh and Washington & Jefferson tenth.

The WGCA's All-Scholar Team Award recognizes the women's collegiate golf program with the highest collective average team GPA, which includes all the team's student-athletes for the 2024-25 season. Ball State's nine team members had an average GPA of 3.968 to lead Division I. University of Central Missouri led Division II, as the team's six players averaged a 3.945 GPA, while Ithaca College's five team members led Division III with a 3.917 average GPA. In NAIA, SCAD Savannah's 11 team members led the division with a GPA of 3.900, while Daytona State College topped the NJCAA with a 3.860 GPA.
