Kantor Named Landmark Conference Football Senior Scholar-Athlete

TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference selects 23 senior scholar-athletes each year to recognize the top student-athlete in each sport based on academics and athletics.

The honorees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 and are selected by a committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, athletic communications, and diversity, ethnicity, and inclusion designee.

Susquehanna University’s Eli Kantor has been named the 2024 Landmark Conference Football Senior Scholar-Athlete. He is the first-ever River Hawk to be honored.

As a mathematics major with a 3.70 grade point average, Kantor is a member of Kappa Mu Epsilon, the national mathematics honor society, and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and has earned Dean’s List recognition every semester while at Susquehanna.

On the field, Kantor has been a key figure in Susquehanna’s success, guiding the River Hawks to back-to-back Landmark Conference titles. A three-year starter at center, he anchored the conference’s top offensive unit and earned back-to-back First Team All-Landmark honors for his outstanding performance. The past fall, Kantor was responsible for a unit that allowed only 14 sacks and generated 5,377 total yards, including 2,707 on the ground. Additionally, the River Hawks offense ranks third with 537.7 total yards per carry and seventh with 257.2 rushing yards per carry.
