Cross Country 11/22/2025 12:00:00 PM Elizabethtown & Moravian Athletic Communications Landmark Men’s Cross Country Trio Competes at 2025 NCAA Championship SPARTANBURG, S.C. — The Landmark Conference was represented by three student-athletes at the 2025 NCAA Division III Men’s Cross Country Championships on Saturday, as competitors from Elizabethtown College and Moravian University capped their seasons on the national stage at the Roger Milliken Center, hosted by Converse College. Elizabethtown juniors Derek Kendig and Will Inglis, both all-conference and all-region performers, made their NCAA Championship debuts. Kendig placed 274th in 27:03.5, while Inglis crossed in 282nd with a time of 27:13.2, closing out strong seasons for the Blue Jays. Moravian junior Gavin Hefferan wrapped up his 2025 campaign with a solid showing in his second consecutive NCAA Championship appearance. Hefferan finished 104th in a field of 291 runners, clocking 25:21.5 on the 8,000-meter layout. After opening in 68th through the first kilometer and briefly sliding to 114th, he surged late with a 2:59.7 final kilometer to climb back inside the top 105.
