Landmark Announces Athletes of the Week

TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has released the Athletes of the Week. The conference will recognize a student-athlete for each sport based on their contributions to their team throughout the season.

For the winter season, men's and women's basketball will be announced on Monday, followed by swimming and diving, and indoor track and field on Tuesday.

  • Men's Athlete of the Week: Marquis Ratcliff (Moravian University)
    Ratcliff averaged 25.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game while helping the Greyhounds to a 2-0 week to start conference play. Ratcliff shot 19-for-33 from the field (58%), 3-for-7 on three-pointers, and 9-for-10 at the foul line to go with four assists and four blocked shots. He had 19 points, 14 rebounds, and a blocked shot in a 79-78 win at Elizabethtown College, and then recorded 31 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and three blocked shots in a 93-91 victory versus Wilkes University.
     

    Women's Athlete of the Week: Lauren Kraft (Catholic University)
    Kraft put together a solid week to help the Cardinals get off to a 2-0 start in conference play. She started things off with eight points, four steals, and a career-high 12 rebounds in a win over Goucher College, and followed up with a career-high 23 points with six rebounds and four steals against Lycoming College in a victory.
