Logan Campbell Named Men's Soccer Senior Scholar-Athlete

TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference selects 23 senior scholar-athletes each year to recognize the top student-athlete in each sport based on academics and athletics.

The honorees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 and are selected by a committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, athletic communications, and diversity, ethnicity, and inclusion designee.

The University of Scranton's Logan Campbell has been recognized as the Landmark Conference Men's Soccer Senior Scholar-Athlete. He is the fourth Royal to be selected, joining Bill McGuiness (2012), Matthew Busch (2016), and Brendan King (2022).

Campbell established himself as one of Scranton's most consistent and impactful performers, excelling on the field while maintaining exceptional academics as a Business Analytics major, carrying a remarkable 3.99 grade point average.

A key contributor to Scranton's competitive success, Campbell helped lead the Royals to the 2022 Landmark Conference Championship and built an impressive individual résumé with three Landmark All-Conference selections; Second Team honors in 2023 followed by back-to-back First Team selections in 2024 and 2025. He was named the 2025 Landmark Defensive Player of the Year, becoming one of the league's premier backline anchors, only allowing four goals all season. Campbell also earned United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region honors in 2024.

Campbell's academic success mirrors his on-field performance. He is a three-time College Sports Communicators Academic (CSC) All-District honoree (2023, 2024, 2025) and has been recognized nationally with United Soccer Coaches (USC) Scholar All-America Second Team honors (2024) and USC Scholar All-East Region First Team recognition (2024).

As an Event Coordinator with Lamancha Animal Rescue, he worked within an intern cohort to organize and execute a volunteer initiative involving 10 participants, developing strong partnerships with staff while assisting in the care, feeding, and training of more than 20 animals. 

Campbell also served as Head of Activities for Riverfront Sports' Challenger Soccer Program, facilitating inclusive soccer sessions for more than 20 individuals with disabilities and managing multiple Excel-based systems to coordinate volunteers and streamline communication. 

Additionally, he has supported local outreach efforts through food and clothing preparation at The Arrupe House, helping prepare upward of 150 meals in partnership with Friends of the Poor.
