Ben Ciesielski Selected as 2025 Landmark Football Senior Scholar-Athlete

TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference selects 23 senior scholar-athletes each year to recognize the top student-athletes in each sport based on academics and athletics.

The honorees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 and are selected by a committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, athletic communications, and diversity, ethnicity, and inclusion designee.

Ben Ciesielski of Catholic University has been selected as the 2025 Landmark Conference Football Senior Scholar-Athlete. He is the first selection for the Cardinal football program.

Ciesielski owns a 3.96 grade point average as a Biology major and has been one of Catholic’s most consistent performers on the field. He is a two-time All-Landmark Second Team selection (2024, 2025), anchoring the Cardinals with steady, reliable play throughout his career.

In the classroom, Ciesielski has built an impressive academic résumé. He earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors in 2024, is a Dean’s List with Distinction student, and is a member of both Phi Eta Sigma and Psi Chi honor societies. He has also been named to the Landmark Fall Academic Honor Roll in both 2023 and 2024.

Ciesielski’s commitment to service has made a strong impact on the communities around him. His involvement includes work with Nickel City Canine Rescue, participation in Catholic University’s Mother Teresa Day of Service and Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, and giving back to young athletes as an Orchard Park Volunteer Varsity Football Coach.
