Limantour Named Region 2 Defensive Player of the Year; 10 Named All-Region

TOWSON, Md. – Headlined by Susquehanna University’s Galen Limantour, 10 Landmark Conference football student-athletes earned spots on the 2025 D3football.com All-Region 2 team. Limantour was also named the region’s Defensive Player of the Year.

Limantour has been a force for the River Hawks this season, recording 21.5 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks while helping Susquehanna win three playoff games en route to a national quarterfinal matchup with Johns Hopkins on Saturday, December 13. He has totaled 55 tackles, including 32 solo stops, along with 10 quarterback hurries and two pass breakups.

This marks the second consecutive year that Susquehanna has received top regional recognition, following River Hawks head coach Tom Perkovich being named Region 2 Coach of the Year in 2024.

The All-Region teams were selected through balloting by Region 2 sports information directors and D3football.com staff, from a pool of 240 nominations submitted by full Division III member schools. A total of 79 players were chosen. Those named to the All-Region teams are also eligible for D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025.
