Landmark Announces Athletes of the Week

TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has released the Athletes of the Week. The conference will recognize a student-athlete for each sport based on their contributions to their team throughout the season.

For the winter season, men's and women's basketball will be announced on Monday, followed by swimming and diving, and indoor track and field on Tuesday.

  • Men's Athlete of the Week: Zuri Harris (Elizabethtown College)
    Harris put together a huge week for Elizabethtown, averaging 23.0 points while shooting 67% from the field and nearly 70% from three. He erupted for a career-high 26 points at No. 20 Drew, knocking down seven threes, including the game-tying triple in the final minute of overtime to help the Jays pull out the 95–93 win. Zuri followed it up with 20 points at Goucher on 7-of-11 shooting and finished the week with 5.5 rebounds, two steals, and five assists.

    Women's Athlete of the Week: Kaci Kranson (University of Scranton)
    Kranson put together a dominant three-game stretch, averaging 20.7 points and 5.7 rebounds while shooting an incredible 77.5% from the field (23-for-29) as No. 2 Scranton kept its unbeaten season rolling. She was flawless at Juniata, dropping 23 points on a perfect 9-for-9 shooting night, and earlier poured in 28 points against Moravian on 10-of-13 shooting with four threes. Kranson also added 11 points and seven boards in a win over Stevens.
