TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has released the Athletes of the Week. The conference will recognize a student-athlete for each sport based on their contributions to their team throughout the season.

For the fall season, field hockey, football, soccer, and volleyball will be announced on Monday, followed by cross country, golf, and tennis on Tuesday.

  • Men's Athlete of the Week: Royce Goodman (Drew)
Goodman earned his first career singles victory with a dominant 6-0, 6-0 win at the No. 1 position, helping Drew secure a 5-2 victory over Lycoming in the Rangers’ Landmark Conference opener. The freshman’s first collegiate win came in impressive fashion, as Drew swept the top three singles positions to open conference play with a convincing team victory.

Women's Athlete of the Week: Sydney Shifman (Moravian)
Sydney Shifman opened the season in impressive fashion, going undefeated in singles and doubles. Shifman went 2-0 at No.3 singles, earning a pair of straight-set victories, including a dominant 6-0 win over DeSales and a 6-4, 6-3 victory against Albright. With a perfect week, Shifman reached over 50 career singles victories, becoming just the 11th player in program history to reach the milestone.

  • Men’s Athlete of the Week: Jax Puskar (Susquehanna)
Jax Puskar delivered a record-setting performance to lead Susquehanna to the team championship, capturing medalist honors with the lowest round of the tournament. Puskar fired an impressive 4-under-par 66 at Susquehanna Valley Country Club, finishing atop a competitive 15-team field. His round featured four birdies, including three on the front nine, as he set the pace for the River Hawks and helped them post a team score of 289 (+9) to win the title over Bloomsburg.

Women’s Athlete of the Week: Kennedy Petrovich (Susquehanna)
Kennedy Petrovich delivered a record-setting performance at the Hamilton Invitational, helping Susquehanna secure a third-place finish in a competitive field at Rome Country Club. The senior fired a program-record 3-under-par 69 in Sunday’s second round, recording the lowest single-round score in Susquehanna women’s golf history. Petrovich finished second individually with a two-day total of 147 (+3), while her historic 69 helped spark another record-setting performance from the River Hawks, who posted a program-best 304 (+16) in the final round. Her standout weekend helped Susquehanna tie for third with Babson and marked a historic day for both Petrovich and the River Hawks’ program.
