Landmark Announces Athletes of the Week

TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has released the Athletes of the Week. The conference will recognize a student-athlete for each sport based on their contributions to their team throughout the season.

For the winter season, men's and women's basketball will be announced on Monday, followed by swimming and diving, and indoor track and field on Tuesday.

For the spring season, baseball, softball, and lacrosse will be announced on Monday, followed by golf, tennis, and outdoor track and field on Tuesday.

  • Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week: Marquis Ratcliff (Moravian University) 
    Ratcliff helped the Greyhounds to a 2-0 week averaging 27.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game while becoming Moravian's all-time leading scorer. He shot 20-of-38 from the field, 12-for-17 on three-pointers, added 10 blocked shots, five assists, and three steals while playing 77 of 80 minutes for the week. Ratcliff had 27 points, 10 rebounds, six blocked shots, two assists, and two steals in an 84-73 win over Goucher College. He netted 28 points to go with 10 rebounds for his ninth double-double of the season and 36th of his career in a 79-71 victory versus Lycoming College. 

    Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week: Kaci Kranson (University of Scranton) 
    Kranson led Scranton to a pair of dominant conference victories last week, highlighted by a career-best performance against Susquehanna. In a 94–53 win over Susquehanna, Kranson exploded for a career-high 39 points in just 29 minutes. She shot an outstanding 15-for-22 (68.2%) from the field, including 5-for-11 from three-point range, while adding seven rebounds and two assists. Earlier in the week, Kranson recorded 19 points in only 15 minutes during Scranton’s 104–29 win over Lycoming. She went 7-for-10 from the floor and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc, while also contributing four rebounds, three assists, and a steal. For the week, Kranson averaged 29.0 points per game while shooting 68.8% (22-for-32) from the field and 57.1% (8-for-14) from three-point range.

  • Baseball Athlete of the Week: Aj Llorente (Lycoming College)
    Llorente went 8-for-12 with an impressive .667/.750/.643 slash line during the Warriors’ 2-1 week at Guilford. He scored three runs, drove in five, and added a double and a walk while recording three multi-hit performances. Llorente opened the series by going 3-for-6 with two runs, two RBI, and a double in a 12-1 win, followed by a 3-for-4 effort with a run and two RBI in an 11-5 victory in game two. He capped the series by going a perfect 2-for-2 with an RBI in the final game against Gullford.

    Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Alex Halbert (Lycoming College)
    In Friday’s season opener, Halbert pitched four innings on 50 pitches, surrendering only one hit and two walks while inducing six flyouts and six groundouts in a 12–1 win over Guilford.

  • Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week: Jack Minetti (Moravian University)
    Minetti led the Greyhounds in scoring with eight points on six goals and two assists to begin the 2026 season. Minetti took 13 shots in the two matches, with eight on goal, scoring on six of them. He also had eight ground balls and a caused turnover during the week. Minetti had four goals and four ground balls in a 9-5 win over Gwynedd Mercy University to start the season, and he then had two goals, two assists, and four ground balls at The United States Merchant Marine Academy.

    Men's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week: Joe Barnish (Drew University)
    Barnish recorded 10 saves in an impressive performance to lead Drew to an 8-4 season-opening victory over Marywood. He shut out the Pacers in both the second and fourth quarters, highlighted by five key saves that kept Marywood at bay.

  • Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week: Jesse Faro (Drew University)
    Faro won at both No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles in Drew's 4-3 victory over Dickinson. He teamed up with Daniel Arcari for a 6-3 doubles win, then prevailed in straight sets (6-2, 6-3) in singles play. 

     

  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week: Colson Lewis (Juniata College)
    Lewis had a good day at the Susquehanna Valentine Invitational as he took first in the 200m (22.53). The graduate student currently sits first in the Landmark and ranks in the top-20 in the region in the event. He also took second in the 60m (7.03).

    Men's Field Athlete of the Week: Jerome Luckey (Moravian University)
    Luckey took fourth in the high jump at the Widener University Indoor Classic with an all-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying height of 2.05 meters (6-8.75), which ranks him fourth in the region and tied for eighth nationally. He also competed in the long jump with a distance of 6.12 meters (20-1).

    Women's Track Athlete of the Week: Emily Camlet (Drew University) 
    It was another week and another record-breaking performance for Camlet at Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invitational. She turned in another stellar showing in the 400-meter dash, with a time of 55.86 seconds while shaving one-hundredth of a second off her own school and Landmark Conference records set just over a week earlier. That time also places her ninth on the Division III performance list for the season. In addition, Camlet broke her own school record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.20 seconds, a mark that currently ranks 44th in Division III. 

    Women's Field Athlete of the Week: Kara Vashey (Moravian University)
    Vashey smashed her school record in the 20-pound weight throw by nearly 19 inches with an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying toss of 17.19 meters (56-4.75) as she placed fifth in the event at the Widener University Indoor Classic. Her mark ranks first in the region and 13th nationally.
