TOWSON, Md. – The University of Scranton has captured the 2025–26 Landmark Conference Presidents’ Trophy, finishing atop the final all-sports standings following the conclusion of spring competition. It marks Scranton’s third Presidents’ Trophy overall and its first since the 2022–23 academic year.
The Presidents’ Trophy, awarded annually since the conference’s inaugural year, recognizes the top overall athletics program across all Landmark sports. Standings are determined through a points system that rewards regular-season finishes based on field size in each sport, along with bonus points earned in Landmark Championship competition.

Scranton’s spring was highlighted by four Landmark Championships, as the Royals captured titles in women’s outdoor track and field, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, and baseball. The men’s and women’s lacrosse teams both finished first in the regular-season standings. They earned five bonus points each for their championship victories, while baseball also added five bonus points after winning the league title. The women’s tennis team tied for first in the regular-season standings and added three bonus points as the championship runner-up.
Catholic University turned in another strong spring across the conference, reaching the postseason in five of six field sports while adding a Landmark Championship in women’s golf. The Cardinals earned runner-up finishes in men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, and softball, while both tennis programs advanced to postseason play.
Moravian University used a strong spring season to climb into third place in the final Presidents’ Trophy standings with an 8.88 average after sitting fourth following both the fall and winter seasons. The Greyhounds were led by Landmark Championships in softball, men’s tennis, women’s tennis, and men’s outdoor track and field, while also reaching the postseason in both lacrosse programs, and had a runner-up finish in women's outdoor track and field and men's golf.
Susquehanna University finished fourth with an 8.24 average after remaining in third following both the fall and winter seasons. The River Hawks reached the postseason in baseball, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, and softball, while also posting runner-up finishes in women’s golf and men’s outdoor track and field.
Drew University climbed from seventh after the fall season to fifth in the final standings with a 6.93 average, improving from sixth after the winter. The Rangers’ year featured a Landmark Championship title in men’s golf, postseason runs in softball, baseball, men’s lacrosse, and both tennis programs, and a third-place finish in women’s golf.
Elizabethtown College finished sixth with a 6.89 average. The Blue Jays were led by baseball, which advanced to the conference championship game after a third-place finish in the regular-season standings, while men’s lacrosse also finished third and earned a postseason appearance. Elizabethtown also posted fourth-place finishes in women’s golf and both the men’s and women’s outdoor track and field championships.
Wilkes University placed seventh with a 4.74 average after improving one spot during the spring season. The Colonels were highlighted by baseball, who finished at the top of the standings after the regular season, and earned the top seed of the conference tournament, while softball and women’s tennis also earned postseason appearances.
Juniata College finished eighth with a 4.07 average. The Eagles earned postseason appearances in both men’s and women’s tennis, while men’s golf added a fourth-place finish at the conference championships.
Lycoming College placed ninth with a 3.72 average, and Goucher College rounded out the standings in 10th with a 3.25 average. The Gophers were highlighted by a third-place finish in men’s golf and a runner-up finish in men’s tennis at the conference championship tournament.
